Sixteen of us from the Council Bluffs/Omaha area drove to Fairfield, Iowa for a Krishnadas concert. Two of the Five cars caravaned for this overnight adventure.
The food at an Indian restaurant was wonderful, and the concert was the best desert to fed our souls. The concert lasted from 8 pm until almost midnight to a sold out crowd. After midnight Krishnadas posed with Leela for a photo.
On the next morning after breakfast the 5 of us in one van went to Maharishi University of Management and to Maharishi Vedic City. The photos are of an outdoors observatory.
On our way back home we stopped in Pella, Iowa. Nature is about two weeks ahead of time this year and the tulips were in full bloom. This small Dutch community captured out hearts with its clean, aestically beautiful homes and businesses, and smiling well dressed, well mannered population.
The sundial in the middle of the city square, the waterway that flowed through the downtown, the unusual architecture, the domed fountain and the windmill, the flowers that lined every street, everything was a sharp contrast to Vedic City.
